Servi Doryl’s 2023 social commitment

 At Servi Doryl, we are committed to supporting causes that are important to us. It’s part of our commitment to social and environmental responsibility (SER). We salute the involvement of our employees in this solidarity-based approach.  

 In 2023, we supported 4 different causes: 

Association Crin de Django  

 In June 2023, we organized a solidarity walk in aid of the Crins de Django association, which rescues abused and abandoned horses. This 9 km walk was an opportunity to share our passion for cheese, with fun questions along the way.  

 

Rugby Club Association   

In November 2023, we helped finance new balls for the SC Langeais rugby club, located in our town. We had the pleasure of receiving a ball from co-president Sébastien Coulon, with whom we discussed the values of rugby: team spirit, respect, conviviality and courage.  

Restaurants du Cœur association  

 In December 2023, we entrusted a group of employees representing various departments with the mission of presenting a cheque to the local branch of Restaurants du cœur. We were welcomed by Evelyne Fuld, the association’s departmental vice-president. She gave us an overview of the organization’s day-to-day work in the fight against poverty and exclusion. She also explained how we could get involved with them as individuals.  

Fundraising for flooding in Greece  

 In December 2023, we took part in a fund-raising campaign organized by Mr. Gisbert Strohn, former Managing Director of Alpma Maschinenbau, to help the people of Piniada in Greece, affected by severe flooding. Mr.Strohn’s wife visited the site in October 2023 and distributed some of the donations to the worst-affected families in Piniada. She also made a donation to the local pastor so that he could help others in need. A second distribution is planned for early 2024.
